The 2026 International History Olympiad is a well-known comprehensive international history contest for young learners, open to history enthusiasts across the globe. Focused on fostering historical understanding, critical thinking, source analysis and global perspectives, the contest broadens participants’ knowledge of world history and cultural development through diversified competitions, trains their analytical reasoning and independent thinking skills, and comprehensively strengthens their academic proficiency and international competition capabilities.

Junior Primary：Primary Grades 1–3

Participants shall select the competition category on their own.
Award & Criteria

Top Champion：Highest honor, Top 5% of participants in each grade.

Champion：Ranked 6%–10% in each grade.

First Runner-up：Ranked 11%–20% in each grade.

Second Runner-up：Ranked 21%–30% in each grade.

Merit Award: Participants who do not receive the above awards.

Best Education Award: For School/Mentor who recommend 5 or more participants winning the Second Runner-Up or higher honors.
