The Rules apply to all competitions, participants and group registration organizations on this website, and all relevant parties shall comply with the provisions of these Rules. GIEA reserves the right of final interpretation.

【Equipment Requirements】

​

Network: Participants shall ensure a stable network connection during the competition to avoid any impact on question answering and submission caused by network disconnection, lag or other similar issues.

 

Devices: Support Computers and phones;Chrome/Safari browsers are recommended.

 

Environment: Participants shall take part in the competition in a quiet and interference-free environment to maintain full concentration during the entire answering process.

【Registration Rules】

​

Registration Fee: Free Registration for all participants.

 

Participation Method: Complete the registration application on the official website. Participants must truthfully fill in personal information including full name, age, school attended and contact details on the official competition website, and ensure all information provided is true and valid. A confirmation email will be sent upon successful registration, and participants may log in to the system to complete the answering at any time before the registration deadline.

Group Registration: Schools, education centers, social organizations and other institutions may organize students to register in batches. For group registration, the Group Registration Form shall be downloaded, filled in with participants’ information as required, and submitted uniformly after verification. The competition link will be sent to the registered email address of the supervising teacher. Group registration organizations shall be responsible for communicating the competition rules, reminding participants of the competition time, supervising affiliated participants to abide by the fair competition rules, and bearing corresponding management responsibilities.

Customization Fee: The competition provides customized services for certificates (digital/physical), trophies and medals. Participants may apply for customized awards engraved or printed with their full names, and relevant production fees shall be paid separately.

【Answering Rules】

​

Competition Format: Online competition (single-choice questions, multiple-choice questions), with a 30-minute time limit for each single attempt. Question Languages: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and English.

 

Submission Limit: Each participant shall have only ONE chance to submit answers. Participants may check answers independently after completing the answering, and click the "Submit" button only after confirming all answers are correct.

 

Automatic Submission: If a participant fails to submit the answer sheet voluntarily within the specified time limit, the system will automatically submit the answer sheet upon the expiration of the competition duration.

 

Score Basis: The answer sheet will be locked immediately upon submission. The final score shall be based on the first voluntary submission or the system automatic submission, and no modifications to the answer sheet content shall be allowed after submission.

【Fair Competition Rules】

​

Independent Answering: Participants shall consciously abide by the integrity code for competition, complete the answering independently, shall not seek assistance from others, nor provide answering help to other participants.

 

Real-time Monitoring: The competition platform will activate the real-time monitoring function, conducting full-process supervision over behaviors such as frequent screen switching, multi-device login and abnormal network connection during the competition.

 

Prohibited Behaviors: Any violations including using external auxiliary tools, cheating, sharing competition accounts with others, and transmitting test questions and answers are strictly prohibited.

【Scoring Rules】

​

Scoring Principle: Scoring principle of awarding points for correct answers and no points deduction for incorrect answers shall be adopted.

 

Score Calculation: Each test question is assigned a corresponding score value.

【Ranking Rules】

​

Ranking Method: Standardized scoring shall be conducted according to the corresponding group of each participant.

 

Award Inquiry: After the competition results are released, participants may log in to the official website to check the awards they have won.

 

Final Decision: The judging panel reserves the final decision on the score verification results, and all participants shall comply with the verification results issued by the judging panel.

【Award Customization Rules】

​

Application Method: Participants log in to the "Award Customization" page, select the desired award combination, fill  application info including recipient’s full name, contact number and detailed delivery address, and complete the fee payment as prompted by the system.

 

Delivery Time: Digital certificates will be sent to the participant’s registered email address approximately 1 month after the competition customization deadline; physical awards will be shipped within 2 months after the competition customization deadline.

 

Value: It serves as proof of academic ability in a global international competition; it can be used as a supporting application document for scholarship applications, academic research, further education applications, extracurricular activities and other scenarios, helping to enhance participants’ international competitiveness; Permanent Souvenir: All physical awards will be engraved or printed with the participant’s full name and award level, which can serve as a permanent souvenir of the participant’s academic achievements; Authenticity Verification: All certificates contain a unique verification code, and participants and relevant parties may verify the authenticity of the certificates through the official competition website to ensure the authority of the awards.

• HKD 400: Digital Certificate + Physical Certificate + Trophy + Medal

 

Shipping Notes: The customization fee includes a one-time delivery fee for Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Mainland China, Singapore and Malaysia, and users in the above regions do not need to pay additional fees; for multiple deliveries required, any extra fees incurred shall be borne by the user; for deliveries outside the above regions, relevant shipping fees shall be paid separately by the recipient.

【Rights Statement】

​

Articles Interpretation Right: The organizer reserves the right of final interpretation of these Rules, and all decisions made by the organizer regarding competition-related matters shall be final and binding.

 

Rule Amendment Right: The organizer reserves the right to modify the provisions of these Rules and adjust competition rules, and any relevant adjustments will be publicized through the official competition website.

 

Final Decision Right: The judging panel reserves the final decision on all competition matters (including scores, rankings, award selection, etc.), and no participant shall raise objections to the decisions made by the judging panel.
