The 2026 International Youth Chemistry Application Skills Competition is an international chemistry competition for young learners. It focuses on chemical knowledge, scientific reasoning, and practical applications, covering the structure of matter, elements and compounds, mixtures, chemical reactions, acids and bases, experimental principles, and chemistry in everyday life. The competition emphasizes conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and the application of chemical knowledge, encouraging participants to interpret chemical phenomena, understand changes in substances, and apply scientific principles to real-world situations.

2026國際青少年化學應用能力大賽是一項面向青少年的國際化學競賽，以化學知識、科學推理及實際應用為核心，涵蓋物質結構、元素與化合物、混合物、化學反應、酸鹼、實驗原理及生活中的化學應用等內容。賽事注重概念理解、分析思維與化學知識的實際運用，鼓勵參賽者理解物質變化、分析化學現象，並將科學原理應用於真實生活情境。

初小組：小學 1-3 年級學生
高小組：小學 4-6 年級學生
初中組：中學 7-9 年級學生
高中組：中學 10-12 年級學生
公開組：18 歲及以上
參賽者自行選擇競賽組別

比賽組別

頂尖榜首：最高榮譽，組別排名前 5%

冠軍：組別排名 6%-10%

亞軍：組別排名 11%-20%

季軍：組別排名 21%-30%

新銳潛力獎：未獲得上述獎項的參賽者
卓越導師獎：學校/導師推薦5名以上參賽者獲得季軍或以上榮譽。

評審標準

HKD 200：電子證書
HKD 340：實體證書
HKD 360：實體證書 + 獎牌
HKD 380：實體證書+獎盃 + 獎牌

Schedule

  • Languages: English, Chinese

  • Participation Method: Submit registration form and log in exam link to finish the examination

  • Results: Results will be publicly announced on website and email notifications.

Grades

  • Kindergarten: 6 years old below

  • Junior Primary: Primary Grades 1-3

  • Senior Primary: Primary Grades 4-6

  • Junior Secondary: Secondary Grades 7-9

  • Senior Secondary: Secondary Grades 10-12

  • Open Group: Aged 18 or above

Participants shall select the competition category on their own.​

Award & Criteria

  • Top Champion：Highest Honor, Top 5% of participants in each grade.

  • Champion：Ranked 6%–10% in each grade.

  • First Runner-up：Ranked 11%–20% in each grade.

  • Second Runner-up：Ranked 21%–30% in each grade.

  • Merit Award: Participants who do not receive the above awards.

  • Best Education Award: For School/Mentor who recommend 5 or more participants winning the Second Runner-Up or higher honors.

  • HKD 380: Physical Certificate + Trophy + Medal

 

The above fees include a one shipping fee for deliveries to Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Mainland China, Singapore and Malaysia. For others regions not listed in above areas, relevant shipping fees shall be borne separately by the recipient.
